Casting
The next step is to take the resin model and cast it into metal using the "lost wax process". To do this, we take the resin and make a temporary cast around it using a concrete-like material called "investment". Then, we melt the resin leaving the investment hollow. This is called the "burn-out" process. After the burn-out is complete, we use our state of the art automatic caster to fill the investment with metal. When the invesment is taken off of the metal, it leaves us with your new custom ring!!!
